Alexander LeeAlexander Lee "These are times that try men's souls..." Alexander P. Lee Concord NH Alexander Lee lives in Concord, NH. He spent a three-month stint as the Concord-area Regional Field Director for Gov. Howard Dean, MD's presidential campaign and is a Dean delegate to the Democratic National Convention. From February 2002 to April 2003, he was Assistant to the Commissioners at the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. He graduated from Vermont Law School in May of 2001. He did his undergraduate work at Middlebury College. He has studied at the Center for Northern Studies and participated in Green Corps' Environmental Organizing Semester. He previously served on the board of the Peace & Justice Center in Burlington, VT; the Otter Creek Audubon Society, Middlebury, VT; the Advisory Board of Free The Planet!, Washington, DC; and the Public Policy Advisory Board of the Vermont Association of Nonprofit Organizations (VANPO), Burlington, VT. Mr. Lee was staff co-chair of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners' (NARUC) Committee on Energy Resources & the Environment. He speaks frequently on energy efficiency and was also an active participant in the New England Demand Response Initiative (NEDRI). He has worked for the Vermont Secretary of State on political redistricting and written extensively on capital punishment. His works have been published in the Northern Forest Forum and The Catholic Worker. For several years, Mr. Lee led a group of teenagers on four week canoe trips in Northern Quebec. He loves to bake bread and cross-country ski in his free time. |
