Healthcare 101: Toward An Understanding of NH’s Healthcare System
Doug Hall, Co-Executive Director
New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies

Healthcare — daily we are hearing about our healthcare system, but do we understand how the system works? In the second program in the series If I Had a Hammer: A Training for Citizen Activists, Doug Hall of the NH Center for Public Policy Studies will be speaking at the Exeter Library on Tuesday February 22 at 7pm.

Mr. Hall will share his research and insight and attempt to unravel some of the complexities of the healthcare system — financing, cost shifting, Medicaid and the insurance industry. He will highlight some of the current hot healthcare issues in New Hampshire. This program will build on the information presented at the January talk by Bob McGrath from the New Hampshire Health Information Center at UNH.

Mr. Hall has conducted research and authored reports for the Center for Public Policy Studies on a variety of policy subjects including the state budget, education quality and school finance, the well-being of children. He also brings a political perspective to the discussion having served in the NH House of Representatives from 1987-1995.

This presentation is free and open to the public.
