Preserving conservation land in HooksettWed, 12/29/2004 - 8:00pm Hooksett Town Library On Wednesday, December 29th, there will be a meeting at the Hooksett Library at 7 PM regarding change of use of a huge tract of land, from the area near the Hackett Hill toll booth to the Bow town line. Mike Sorel will be chairing this meeting. The proposal is to change the use of this land from protected to commercial. Matthew Quiet, a Hooksett democrat and candidate for state rep in the 2004 election cycle, is opposing the change of land use. Please contact Matt if you can offer any support, at m.quiet@comcast.net. Any assistance is appreciated. |
