The Barrington Democratic Town Committee will host an event, “Women of
Distinction – Extraordinary Women in New Hampshire Politics,” October 10,
2008, at 6:30 P.M., at the Barrington Middle School on Route 9 in
Barrington.

The featured guests will be US Senate candidate Governor Jeanne Shaheen,
Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter, State Senator Jackie Cilley and Executive
Councilor Bev Hollingworth. Other special guests include women (and men)
running for State Representative from Strafford County.

The program will pay tribute to the amazing accomplishments of these
distinguished women. The audience will hear from the candidates and have a
chance to meet them and ask questions.

The evening will also present special musical guests Susan Pratt-Smith, Anne
Brown, and Johanna Chase.
