Women Making a Difference to Host Discussion after SiCKO ShowingFri, 07/20/2007 - 7:00pm Wilton Town Hall Theatre Press Release Women Making a Difference to Host Discussion after SiCKO Showing as well as 'Help Your Neighbor' Viewing Event Amherst, NH: Women Making a Difference, an area women's group, is announcing a special invitation to MDs, RNs, health care workers and politicians such as area NH Representatives and Senators to attend along with NH citizens, the first showing of the movie, SiCKO at the Wilton Town Hall Theater this Friday, July 20 @ 7pm. A discussion will follow the movie downstairs at the Wilton Town Hall. The public is also invited to participate in this important public discourse about our failing US health care program. The movie SiCKO will be at Wilton Theater for 2 weeks, however, this discussion is only slated for the first night. WMD is encouraging those who are able to participate in a "Help Your Neighbor View SiCKO"campaign of buying a ticket for yourself to view the movie, SiCKO, and another gift certificate for those less fortunate in order to enable them to view this very important and informative documentary. Wilton Town Hall Theater staff will assist a patron who wishes to pay for an additional gift certificate for the SiCKO movie. Tickets at Wilton Theater are $5, so if you pay $10, you will be able to contribute to this special "Help Your Neighbor View SiCKO" event. Please be advised that information from the Institute for Health and Socio-economic Policy (IHSP) which was released on June 22 at the press conference held at the Palace Theater, Manchester with Michael Moore will also be shared by those who were present at that special showing. This public information details how much money is being accepted by various Presidential candidates by insurance companies and pharmaceutical corporations funding their campaigns. ### |
