Candidates for state and local offices will meet Wednesday evening for a candidates night.

Among those scheduled to attend are Dennis Reed and Lawrence Hennessy, who are running for state representative, and James Dean and Peter Burling, who are running for the state Senate.

The event will be held at the Franklin Veterans of Foreign Wars Post starting at 6 p.m.
