Nonviolent Direct Action has played a key role in the struggle for social change all over the world. This training mixes information, discussion, exercises and role plays to learn what Nonviolent Activism is and how it's used, the role of affinity groups, consensus decision making, legal issues, and more. This workshop helps you prepare for an action, or improve effectiveness and thoughtfulness as an activist. These are also skills that are useful in many other situations.
