WANTED: YOUR OPINION ON EDUCATION IN NH

The NH General Court has established a Joint Legislative
Task Force on Defining "Adequacy" in Education, and they're
seeking your input.

The Task Force, which includes Senators Iris Estabrook,
Martha Fuller Clark, Molly Kelley, and Bob Odell, as well as
Representatives Emma Rous, Kim Casey, Jim O'Neil and Nancy
Stiles, will be holding public forums across the state to
seek input from citizens on the components of an adequate
education in NH, and will then recommend legislation to
define a "constitutionally adequate education."

Each forum will include a brief presentation, and
attendees will then be asked for their thoughts on the
question, "What are the specific criteria and education
programs that constitute an adequate education?" The forum
will focus on the components of education, and comments or
questions on cost will not be taken during the forums.

Please consider attending the forum nearest you and
speaking out for a definition of education that focuses on
children first.
