Title: The Past, Present and Future of Reproductive Rights in New Hampshire: An Historically Pro-Choice State

Description: Rebecca Barson, Public Affairs, PPNNE (Planned Parenthood of Northern New England) will talk about recent and current legislation affecting the reproductive rights of NH citizens, as well as which reproductive choices could be effected by the upcoming elections. Staff will also talk about Planned Parenthood of Northern New England's Action Network efforts with mobilizing female voters ages 18-30, our work with democratic presidential candidates in last year, and work that has moved forward since the March for Women's Lives, which took place April 25, 2004 in Washington D.C. — the largest march in DC history. Please come with questions, concerns, and stories to share around the spectrum of reproductive rights in NH. A PPNNE community educator will also be on hand to support networking and collaboration amongst various seacoast agencies.
