Film: Hacking Democracy, and discussion with Asst. Sec of State Anthony StevensSun, 11/05/2006 - 5:30pm Wilton Town Hall Theater Films and discussion free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to help defray costs. The long awaited documentary, "Hacking Democracy" will be featured November 5th, followed by a discussion with NH Assistant Secretary of State Anthony Stevens. The film will debut on HBO cable channel on November 2. It shows exclusive footage of the first known hack of the optical scan voting machine as it exposes the present vulnerability of America's voting system. Several local members of Women Making a Difference contributed footage showing NH's exemplar voting system during the November election 2004. This separate footage prepared by the local women will also be highlighted. It features several area personalities from Wilton and Lyndeborough towns and the voting procedures during the 2004 election. Discussion with the members of the Democracy for NH Fair Elections Committee will follow the film. |
