On March 10th, 2006, the New Hampshire Ballot Law Commission met to decide whether or not to approve new firmware for the Diebold optical scanners used in NH elections. After more than four hours of public testimony against the approval, including this testimony from the DFNH Fair Elections Committee, they voted 4-1 to approve. DFNH member Monica Smith wrote this report on the hearing. DFNH Director Herb Moyer was on the scene to film the events.
