MOLLY KELLY ANNOUNCES RUN FOR STATE SENATE

Long-time Keene resident wants to give a strong, effective voice to District 10

Keene, NH – Long time Keene resident Molly Kelly announced today that she will run for the New Hampshire State Senate for District #10. At an event in Keene City Hall, Molly Kelly outlined her reasons for running by emphasizing the need for the Monadnock region to have a strong, effective Senator who will invest in quality public education, fight for affordable, accessible healthcare, and who will work to balance environmental preservation with economic development.

“As a financial advisor, everyday I advise people on how they should invest their money to receive the greatest returns. Now I want to go to Concord to work with Governor Lynch and make sure that we are investing in our future.”

She said, “Twenty-five years ago I had a paper route and a waitress shift. Today, I am a successful financial advisor. Like you, I got here with hard work and determination. As a candidate for the 10th district, I will take that same work ethic and determination to Concord and work for you and with you. Quality education, affordable healthcare, and environmental preservation - these aren’t just buzz words to me. They are what I’ve spent my entire life working towards.”

Many supporters, including members of the Cheshire County state legislative delegation, the Keene City Council, and others, surrounded the candidate when she made the statement expressing her intention to run. She was introduced by Michael Blastos, the Mayor of Keene, after welcoming remarks by Representative Dan Eaton from Stoddard.
