The popular film series, "Confronting the Issues" started last summer by local women's group, Women Making a Difference, will again begin with weekly showings of timely independent films at 4:30pm on Sundays at the Wilton Town Hall Theater. All are invited; there will be donations at the door to defray costs, and discussions will follow the films being offered.

In honor of the planned March 15 protest in NYC by independent journalists, the showing of the film, Weapons of Mass Deception will be shown March 26. Danny Schechter offers an up to date indictment of the role media played in promoting and misreporting the war on Iraq.
