A Hero Mission in Iraq

Watch this clip from the New York Times to get a glimpse of what our brave men and women are asked to do over in Iraq.

My friend is a Vermont National Guard serviceman stationed in Kuwait. He has been there for months. He reports that two Vermonters lost their lives last week alone. His own best friend did a tour in Afghanistan. I have had enough.

Feingold told the story yesterday at a Rockingham County event of seeing a memo from the President’s desk just two weeks after 911. It listed scores of countries where Al Qaeda was active—Uzbekistan, France, the USA, but Iraq was not on this list! “That was not a typo,” says Feingold.

Conscientious objector

Conscientious objection is still an option that enlisted men and women can explore. Here is a good source of information about this.

Ultimately - it is up to all of us to get the bad guys out of positions of power so they can not damage our country and others anymore.
