Please join Monadnock Area Peace Response and concerned local citizens in a candlelight vigil in front of the Peterborough Town Hall at the corner of Grove and Main this Wednesday, August 17, from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. to demonstrate our support of Cindy Sheehan's protest in Crawford, Texas.  We will be part of a nation-wide event being organized by Move-On, True Democracy and Democracy for America.
 
We will stand in solidarity with Cindy Sheehan, a mother who lost her son in Iraq, and who is asking G. W. Bush to meet with her during his long August vacation in Crawford, TX. So far, he has refused to discuss with her why her son and so many others have had to die since the war in Iraq began.
