Petition Drop

Wed, 08/17/2005 - 12:30pm

Rep. Jeb Bradlley office in Manchester
A delegation from DFA will be presenting the petition signed by New Hampshire democrats to request a full investigation by the Congress of the allegations in the Downing Street Minutes (DSM-report to British cabinet) that our intelligence agencies "fixed" their reports to support the Bush Administration's desire to attack Iraq, regardless of any justification.

Since it is now being reported that the President ordered that "accurate" information be provided to only eight members of Congress, there's a possibility that the information provided to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was actually false. (Certainly, the yellow-cake transaction that Saddam was supposed to have organized with the nation of Niger has turned out to be disinformation that was presented to Congress and the Nation in the President's State of the Union speech). So, this visit with Bradley's staff (the Congressman will not be available on this day that was chosen by DFA to have similar visits all around the country) will be an opportunity to ask some questions about the availability of accurate "intelligence" to our representatives in Congress.

The conference room has seating for 12. However, the more the merrier. Some can do visibility outside and perhaps interact with the press.

Please let me or Gail Mitchell (our official leader of this delegation) know if you can attend. We will try to arrange car-pools from the Seacoast area.

You can call me at 659-2098 or Gail at 664-8819
