About DFNH meetups

DFNH works with DFA/DFNH meetup groups throughout the state, which meet the first Wed of every month, and typically follow the DFA agenda with local additions and DFNH agenda items as they arise.

NH DFA/DFNH meetup groups are not necessarily "official" Meetup.com groups. As rural NH-ites know, the Meetup.com website doesn't always list rural venues or groups.

The important thing is we are meeting up and organizing.

If you have a group, are forming a group, or know of a Granite State group that is not listed on this website, please let us know so we can have links to all of the NH meetup groups.

For information on DFA meetups, please visit the DFA Meetup Host Central page.

How does a voter choose a write-in candidate electronically?

Today's article in the Concord Monitor concerning electronic voting raises serious issues for unknown or unannounced candidates in New Hampshire elections, particularly the upcoming primary.

It is quite possible that a national figure, such as Al Gore, may not enter the primary by the election law deadline, but may still wish to be considered by the electorate as a "write-in" candidate.

How does a NH voter cast a write-in ballot when the candidate may not be on the ballot screen itself and, presumably, cannot be "touched" electronically?

With electronic balloting, are we not precluding from the New Hampshire electoral process a candidate of world-class stature? Are we denying New Hampshire voters the opportunity to express their opinions through voting for the candidate of their choice?

Meetup Materials

I'd just like to direct you attention to an updated site where you can find Meetup Materials

Those of you old-timers may remember the customizable Dean for America Flash Flyers from North Bay Dean...

Well, after a long sabbatical, they are back, redesigned for the mission of DfA2.0.

You just type in your local meetup location (and time/date, if you vary from the norm) and print out color flyers, complete with tear-off tabs, directly from the web page. No PDF files to download. It looks very slick.

These are great for outreach to folks in your community who may not have found us online... but who want to be part of the action.
